Brian M. Downey

Brian M. Downey, 29, of Highland, IL died Monday, November 5, 2007 in St. Jacob Township, IL.  He was born December 16, 1977 in Maryville, IL to Michael Gene and Cynthia Ann (Harris) Downey.

He is survived by his Mother, Cynthia Ann (Roger) Parker of Chesterfield, MO;  two brothers Aron Paul (Jennifer Harvey) Downing, Highland, IL;  Evan Garrett Downey, Highland, IL;  one nephew, Michael Drake Downey - Highland, IL;  Maternal Grandparents - Herbert "Roger" (Eva) Harris - Wimauma, FL;  Paternal Grandmother - Wilma Downey, Highland, IL; Paternal Step-Grandparents - Herbert (Margaret) Parker, Fairview Hgts, IL, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Father, and his Paternal Grandfather - Paul Eugene "Gene" Downey.

Brian was a Lab-Tech at St. Joseph Hospital, Highland, IL having graduated from SWIC in Belleville, IL.

Visitation:  Saturday, November 10, 2007 from 3:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.

Funeral:  Saturday, November 10, 2007 @ 7:00 P.M. at the Meridith Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard Pye officiating.

Burial will be at a later date.

Memorials may be offered to the American Cancer Society.
