Betty Ray

Betty R. Ray, 81, of Lebanon, IL, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Cedar Ridge Healthcare Center, Lebanon, IL.

Betty was born July 6, 1931, to Charles and Opal (nee McDaniel) Schmidt in St. Louis, MO.

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother in all family things.  She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray, in 1975; and 1 sister, Evelyn Kirchhof.

She is survived by her daughter Carol (Gary) Williams, Lebanon, IL, and her son David Ray, Summerfield, IL.; 7 grandchildren, Robert Adams, Rebecca (Dennis) Faust, Lisa Adams, Bethany (Charlie) Richter, David Ray, Angela Ray, Sarah Ray; 3 great grandchildren, Kylee, Collin, and Charley.

A special thanks to Cedar Ridge for all the care they gave her the last 6 years.

Memorials may be made to the Cedar Ridge Activity Fund or Cedar Ridge Healthcare, Lebanon, IL.

No Visitation.
