Betty Ann Clutter

Betty Ann Clutter, 87, of Bloomington, IN. formerly of Cisne, IL, passed away on May 2, 2026, at HeartStone Health Campus in Bloomington, IN. 

Betty was born on December 29, 1938, in Loda, IL, to Nels Nelson and Helen (Farmer) Nelson. Betty married Jackie J. “Jack” Clutter on March 11, 1961, in Cisne, IL. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2009. 

Betty worked for the North Wayne School District for 29 years as an Administrative Assistant before retiring early to spend time with her grandchildren. In earlier years she worked at Fairfield Memorial Hospital and attended Frontier Community College. She graduated from Wayne City High School. She was a fifty-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Betty is survived by her daughter Christina (Jeff) LeBeau of Ellettsville, IN.

Betty was proceeded in death by husband Jack, and parents Helen and Nels and her sister Martha Slane.

Visitation: Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home in Cisne, IL.

Funeral: Saturday May 9, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home.

Burial: Will follow in Cisne Cemetery.
