Bernetta Tubbs

Bernetta Tubbs, 82 of Geff, Illinois passed away July 6, 2021 at Cisne Rehabilitation & Health Center.

Bernetta was born February 22, 1939 to Roy and Margaret (Lori) Kiger in Johnsonville, Illinois. She married Thomas (Tom) Tubbs on July18, 1956 and he preceded her in death December 16, 2020.

Bernetta was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, canning, quilting and going to the local farmers markets to sell fresh produce..

Bernetta is survived by one son Fred (Noelene) Tubbs of Wayne City, Illinois; two daughters Vickie ( Randy) Doan of Olney, Illinois and Becky (Matt) Johnson of Flora, Illinois; eight grandchildren also survive Jasen and Clayten Tubbs, Allison and Josh Bunting, Stephanie (Codie) Blake and Matthew (Heather) Richards, Michaela and Natalie Doan, several Great Grandchildren also survive.

Preceding her in death were her husband, one son Rickie, her parents, also preceding her in death were three sisters and two brothers.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 5:00 PM at Bestow Cemetery in Geff, Illinois. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Cisne Rehab and Health Care.  Memorials will be accepted at the graveside the day of services or will be accepted at the funeral home.
