Barbara Jean Neumann

Barbara “Bobbie” J. Neumann, 87, of Collinsville, IL, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026, at St. Louis University Hospital, in St. Louis, MO.

She was born June 3, 1939, in Nameoki Township, IL, to Guy and Grace (nee Huff) DeVore. On November 15, 1958, she married Louis Neumann, Jr., at Mt. Carmel Church in St. Louis, MO.

Bobbie will be remembered as a kind and loving woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures. In her younger years, she was an avid bowler and loved spending evenings on the dance floor with family and friends. She also enjoyed trips to the casino, where she could often be found trying her luck at the slot machines. Above all else, Bobbie treasured the time she spent with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose love, warmth, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished forever by those fortunate enough to have loved her.

She is preceded in death by loving husband, Louis Neumann, Jr., parents, Guy and Grace DeVore; siblings, Mike Dorchincez, Thomas DeVore; daughter-in-law, Connie Neumann.

Bobbie is survived by her children, Gregory Neumann, Mark (Brenda) Neumann, Jeffrey (Mary Ann) Neumann, David Neumann; grandchildren, Zachary (Jennifer) Neumann, Jessica (Ian) Heidemann, Jeffrey Neumann, Melissa (Alison) Coley, Rebecca Neumann, Andrew Neumann; great-grandchildren, Miles, Rylee, Connor, Chase, Carter; siblings, Richard (Vicky) Dorchincez, Diane DeVore; nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gregory Neumann.

Visitation: Monday, July 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and Tuesday, July 14,2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM, at Kassly-Meridith Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.
