Barbara Gildersleeve

Barbara Gildersleeve, 72, of Lebanon, IL, died Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Integrity Healthcare of Smithton.

Barbara was born November 20, 1948 to Gerald and Florence (nee Hekkema) Peek in Williamsport, IN.

Barbara was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lebanon, IL, the American Legion Auxillary, O’Fallon, IL and the 8 & 40 Club. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who loved to crochet and cook for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Florence Peek; and a granddaughter, Sofya Gildersleeve, in infancy.

Barbara is survived by her children, Amy (Joe) Blasdel, Lebanon, IL and Darin (Courtney) Gildersleeve, O’Fallon, IL; granddaughter, Hillary Blasdel; siblings, Marion (Chuck) Paczkowski, Murphysboro, TN, Al (Linda) Peek, Myrtle Beach, SC, Jerry Peek, Crossville, TN; many nieces and nephews.
