Alvin H. "Red" Noll

Alvin H. Noll, Jr., 90 of St. Jacob, IL, passed away on Friday, May 29th, 2026, at Highland Health Care, in Highland, IL.

He was born on July 31, 1935, in Highland, IL, to Alvin Harold and Edna (nee Faitz) Noll, Sr.

Alvin was a member of St. Jacob United Church-Christ in St. Jacob, IL, American Legion Post 439 in Highland, IL, St. Jacob Lions Club and VFW Auxiliary, where he fried fish. He loved farming and worked very hard; he also drove a truck for Mike Maedge. Alvin enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Center in Highland, IL, playing bingo, pinochle and gardening. He loved his family, especially is grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alvin and Edna Noll; brothers, Gilbert Noll, Melvern Noll; sisters, Cleora Burton, Marlene Dickerson.

Alvin is survived by his children, Cathy Lienemann, of Highland, IL and Alvin (Cathy) Noll, of St. Jacob, IL; grandchildren, Vanessa (Michael) Maine, Christy Lienemann, Kendra Lienemann, Adam Noll, Brittany (Kyle) Nordmann; great-grandchildren, Weston & Paisley Maine, Lottie & Augusta Johnson, Kylie & Eleanor Nordmann; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Friday, June 5, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.

Service: Friday, June 5, 2026, 11:00 am, at Meridith Funeral Home, Highland, IL.
