ALBERTA LUCRETIA STARK, 82 of Wayne City, IL passed away at 10:52AM, Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 at the SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL

She was born on Aug. 28,1937 in Fairfield, IL to Edward Alvin Thomason & Gladys Croslin. She married Ralph E. Stark on Aug. 21, 1956 in Springfield, TN and he survives.

She was a housewife and loved to read and spend time with family. She was a member of the Church of God.

Surviving Alberta are her husband Ralph, 2 daughters Donna Ratcliffe of Wayne City, IL and Peggy Hawthorne and her husband Danny of Ramsey, IL. Also 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019 at noon at the Cisne Cemetery. Everyone should go directly to the Cisne Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Memorials should be made to Ralph Stark to help with funeral expenses and envelopes will be available at the cemetery or at the Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home.
