Albert Ray Mccracken

Albert Ray McCracken, 72, of Cisne, IL passed away Sunday, December 18, 2022, at his home.

Albert was born February 14, 1950, in Cisne, IL to William Eugene and Eleanor Fay (Williams) McCracken. He married Eva Clodfelter  on December 27, 1975, in Parkersburg, IL and she survives.

Albert worked many years at Roadmaster as a press operator and later for Alliance Farms in Mt. Erie and Wabash Valley Service Company in Cisne, IL. He was also the owner and operator of B & M Carriers, Enterprise Pallet, and McCracken Farms.

He loved hunting, fishing, and was skilled in woodworking and welding. Albert most enjoyed visiting with family and friends and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone.

Albert is survived by his wife, Eva McCracken of Cisne, IL; daughters, Candy (Danny) Ray, Geff, IL, Jennifer (Patrick) Harvey, Fairfield, IL, and Julie (Scott) Williams, Bridgeport, IL; grandchildren, Derek (Vicki) Ray and Tiffany (Brent) Bayley, both of Mt. Erie, IL, Michael Lane (Alexi) Harvey and Bristol Mae Harvey, both of Fairfield, IL, Dyllan and Allex Williams, both of Bridgeport, IL;  and five great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister Donna Jean Wendling; and one great grandson.

Visitation: Monday, December 26, 2022, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm and Tuesday, December 27, 2022, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home, Cisne, IL.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, December 27, 2022, 11:00 am, at the funeral home.

Burial: Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield, IL.

Memorials may be given to Mt. Erie Christian Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
