Gerry Clements

GERALD ‘GERRY’ ELVIN CLEMENTS, 60, of Johnsonville, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019, at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Gerry was born on June 13, 1958, to Gerald Lloyd and Vera Marie (Schell) Clements in Fairfield, IL. He married Connie Clark on December 6, 1980, at the 1 ^st Baptist Church in Flora.

Gerry loved watching NASCAR. He enjoyed working outside, especially mowing the lawn. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a truck driver all his life.

Gerry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Connie; daughters, Tanya Clements, Rachel (Eric) Porter, and Kelley (Curtis) Fry all of Johnsonville; grandchildren, Alexia Casolari, Eric Clements, Ryver, Kylar, and Kaleya Porter, Alexander Clements, and Leona Fry; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Scott Clements, and sister, Connie Brashear.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019, from 5-8 pm at Hosselton-Meridith Funeral Home in Cisne. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 25, 2019, at 11 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Johnsonville Cemetery.
