Welcome to the Highland facility page. This building was built in 1921 by C.J. Hug. It was built for The Farmers and Merchants Bank and remained that until it was sold in the 1980´s. In the mid 1980´s Eagle Bank, as it was then known as, did a major addition and renovation. The building was sold to several different banks through the years until it was purchased by the Meridith Funeral Home in November of 2008. Plocher Construction did the renovation into a funeral home and on September 1, 2009 the building opened as Meridith Funeral Home.
